Waterscape and FWB Update.
WE NOW HAVE FULL POWER. 100% restored. Yall. I’m sooooooo happy!!!!!!!
Update on pool: we needed full power to get the pumps to run. We will kick it in the morning and be ready Tuesday!!!!!!
**EVACUATION ORDERS LIFTED. Water and sewer pumps all restored. Let’s go y’all!!!!***
Many of you are asking good questions so I’m simply sharing what I know.
**We have good water pressure at Waterscape. Per the last call from the county, the pumps are running on generators and they are asking us to conserve water.
**At least one lift station on the island is still on a generator. That means, we are flushing toilets but it is still good to try to conserve flushes.
**For both of these reasons, we are still under evacuation orders. However, I am no dummy and I know thousands of people are about to head this direction. I hope the utilities are able to be fully restored very quickly, and I am sure all hands are on deck to do that!
**The B and C building at Waterscape do NOT have full power. This IS a utility issue, not a Waterscape issue as I first thought. Here is that this means for you. 25%-75% of your lights will work. The washer may work, but not the dryer. The fridge may work, but not the stove. It is random and varies per unit. If you are MY guest you will know EXACTLY what works/doesn’t before you head this way. Then you can decide.
**Because of the power issues, the elevators in B and C are not functioning, so park on your level in the parking garage, or plan to use the stairs.
**We have wifi here and it’s working great. Cell service came back last night but is gone again this morning. Don’t expect to be around town on your cell phone. We have wi-fi on our beach though!
UPDATE: WORKING NOW!!
**Publix was open yesterday and well stocked. We are not depleted of things. Most businesses will reopen today.
**The pools at Waterscape are NOT open yet. Remember y’all, people ran for their lives, to save their families. Employees have not been here. While I expect them back today, please be considerate of WHY the pools are not clean yet. I think it’s 24 hours after they shock them before they can open. We haven’t even started yet. (Will update if I see them today.).
UPDATE!!! I just saw the cute pool boys in the parking lot!
Another update. The missing leg of power that is affecting the B and C buildings is also affecting the pool pumps. It’s going to be a hot minute. We are hoping for Tuesday. 
**Beach service still has their white boxes from the entire island in a parking lot next door. Every single box has to be returned, then filled with the chairs and umbrellas, THEN beach service will start. They will probably get the boxes out today. You MAY get beach service tomorrow. But it may be Tuesday.
**I am not telling anyone to come here or not to come here. You need to work closely with YOUR manager to find out specifics for your rentals. I am not making decisions for ANYBODY! I love it that you are all eager to come here. Just please, please, do not expect things to be perfect two days after a HURRICANE!
