As a +27 handicap, you can rely on me for the best golf course review. Why? The average golfers per the USGA shoot about a 91 (probably doesn't take in to account all of the mulligans). Getting a review from someone who's a scratch golfer is great for fellow scratch golfers, but like me, you just want to know if you'll enjoy the course & the amenities offered.

It isn't on this list, but my personal favorite happens to be the Pines course at the Fort Walton Beach Golf Course. They have a fantastic food at the Clubhouse Grill. You just want to go in with the expectations that it is a Municipal Golf Course and you're just getting great value overall.

This list is just a list of the nicest, public courses in the Panhandle. As far as private courses go, Emerald Bay Golf Club is in a tier of its own. You won't find better quality in terms of play & services anywhere on the Gulf Coast.
