For Buyers: Don't be afraid to ask for the world. Inspections, closing costs, and repairs are back on the table. Focus on "stale" listings that have been active for more than 45 days.
For Sellers: Presentation is everything again. In 2022, you could sell a "fixer-upper" for a premium. In 2026, buyers are picky. If your home isn't "Instagram-ready," be prepared to offer a price credit or stay on the market longer.
The Indiana market isn't crashing, and it isn't exploding. It is maturing. For the patient Hoosier, that is the best news we've had in years.
