Women's Equality Day marks the moment women won the right to vote. More than a century later, equality is still being built—one stable home at a time.

Many of the mothers who come to Vincent Village are doing something remarkable: rebuilding their lives while raising their children, managing a crisis while protecting their kids from it.

Housing instability doesn't just affect an address. It affects job security, school stability, and a mother's ability to plan for tomorrow. At Vincent Village, we walk alongside those mothers—not for a night, but for years.

Science doesn't pause just because a family is between homes.

Kids at Vincent Village recently spent an afternoon with the Don Wood Foundation building, testing, and asking "what if" through hands-on STEM activities.

For a few hours, they weren't thinking about anything except the experiment in front of them. That's the point.

Partners like Don Wood Foundation make sure Youth Services stays full of moments like this.

Tree Canopy Growth Fundxample of what partnership can accomplish. 💙

Nearly 40 Indiana Michigan Power employees joined us for United Way of Allen County’s Day of Caring to beautify our Village. Together, we mulched, planted perennial bulbs and, in partnership with the Tree Canopy Growth Fund, planted new trees throughout our neighborhood.

This work is about more than landscaping. Housing means more than having a roof over your head. Families deserve to come home to a neighborhood that feels safe, beautiful and cared for, and to homes and surroundings held to the same standard we would want for our own families. That sense of pride, safety and stability matters for the well-being of the families we serve.

We’re incredibly grateful for the partnerships that made today possible and for everyone who invested their time and care into our Village. 💙
