Wishlist Wednesday: We Need Your Help!

Our community garden is growing quickly, and we’re asking for the community’s help to keep it going strong this season.

The garden helps us provide fresh produce to neighbors in our community, and we’re currently in need of supplies and tools to keep planting, maintaining, and harvesting throughout the summer.

We’ve created an Amazon Wishlist with our most-needed items, and we’re especially looking for a wheelbarrow (new or gently used in working condition).

Every donation - big or small - makes a direct impact and helps us continue growing fresh food for our community

Wishlist Wednesday: Community Garden Needs

Our community garden is growing -- and so are the needs that help keep it thriving! This space not only brings people together, but also helps us provide fresh produce to neighbors in our community.

We’ve put together an Amazon Wishlist with items that will support the garden throughout the season -- everything from tools to supplies that keep things running smoothly.

We’re also currently in need of a wheelbarrow (new or gently used in working condition) to help with hauling soil, plants, and harvests.

If you’re able to give, donate, or share, we’re so grateful for your support in helping this garden continue to grow and give back

A portion of the fresh produce grown in our community garden is donated to the Frederick Community Fridge - helping make healthy food accessible to neighbors who need it most.

If you have a garden, consider joining in! Extra veggies, herbs, or fruits can go a long way in supporting others in our community.

Together, we can keep sharing the harvest. 🍅🥒🥕

Got a green thumb? We need your help with fresh produce!

Big congratulations to our incredible Director of Operations, Catherine Dorsey! 🎉

We’re proud to share that Catherine has been recognized in Frederick Magazine’s “People to Watch” issue - a well-deserved honor that reflects her leadership, dedication, and the impact she makes every single day.

Catherine’s passion for our mission and her commitment to serving our community continue to move our work forward in meaningful ways. We’re grateful to have her leading alongside us and couldn’t be more excited to see her recognized in this way.

Join us in celebrating Catherine and this exciting moment! 👏

The members of this year’s “People to Watch” class, like those from years before, are diverse in their backgrounds, missions and purpose, but they all share one common trait: passion. Whether they are working to improve the local arts scene, helping the less fortunate or building a business, they are all passionate about what they do and enjoy sharing their vision for a better community. Their passions are making Frederick County a better place and makes each of them worth watching this year and beyond.
