I remember hearing grown folks say, “Back in my day…” and now I get it. Life has changed so much—and not always for the better. Values once cherished are now taken for granted, and the direction we’re heading seems more about convenience than character.
Too many people are fighting for a lifestyle that fits the now, instead of what’s best for mankind. We’ve become slaves to government agendas and media narratives. I’ve weathered some tough seasons, and through it all, I’ve learned that the truth is often simple.
Sadly, many take the easy way out—caring only about themselves, with no thought of what they put out into the universe. There’s little regard for doing what’s right in God’s eyes. And let’s be honest—we’ve grown weak as a people and as a nation. We keep digging up the past, twisting it, and using it as a weapon against progress.
It reminds me of a broken marriage—no healing, just rehashing. But when you open the Bible, so much becomes clear. Until you’ve truly read it, understood it, and allowed it to guide your life—maybe it’s time to pause, listen, and learn.
Life isn’t about pleasing everyone or every nation. Yes, we have a government, but more importantly, we have the people—and with that comes a responsibility to protect what we stand for. Welcoming others into our land for a better life doesn’t mean throwing out our values, our rules, or our process. It means doing things the right way.
God’s plan often goes beyond our understanding, but when we ignore it, we lose our way. If you want change, don’t drag up what’s already been resolved—move forward. Keep pushing ahead. Stop dividing us with the past. Maybe, just maybe, if that’s all you focus on, you are part of the problem.
It breaks my heart to see the division, the blindness, and the bitterness online. Some seem to thrive on chaos and selfish gain. If that’s what you choose, so be it—but know this: our time on earth is short. Eternity is what matters most.
