Money has more than one job.

It should cover your home, your bills, and the people depending on you.

But at some point, I had to ask a bigger question:

What is my income building after the bills are paid?

Because if every dollar comes in and immediately disappears, earning more doesn’t always create more freedom.

Some of that income needs to create breathing room.

Some needs to buy assets that can keep moving you forward.

And some should be dedicated to give, serve, and support the things God has placed on your heart.

That shift changed the way I think about money.

Not just: “How much can I earn?”

But: “How am I stewarding what God's given me?”

If you want to go deeper into how I think about income, assets, and building toward real financial freedom, I put together a training that walks through it.

And right now it's free.

There’s a BIG difference between earning more money… and stewarding what you earn in a way that creates freedom, legacy, and resources for the things God has called you to do.

A lot of us have done everything we were told to do.

Build the career.
Work hard.
Save for retirement.
Provide for the family.

And yet deep down, there’s still that question:

“Is this income actually moving my family toward freedom… or is it simply maintaining the life we’ve built?”

Because making good money is one thing.

Turning that income into assets that can create more time for your family, leave an inheritance for your children’s children, and produce surplus you can sow into Kingdom work?

That requires a different strategy.

That's exactly why I put together a training showing Christian entrepreneurs how I think about creating wealth through real estate while keeping faith, family, and Kingdom impact at the center of the mission.

If you know your income was meant to do more than just maintain your lifestyle…

I wasn’t raised Christian.

At 21, while serving in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Arctic, I gave my life to Christ.

Everything began to change.

After the Navy, I served wherever I could—prison ministry, rescue missions, soup kitchens.

I knew I wanted my life to matter for the Kingdom.

But at 22?

I was broke.

Living with my dad.

My car had broken down.

And I knew NOTHING about real estate.

I began praying, asking God how I could create resources to help fund His work.

Then one Sunday, a preacher pointed at me and prophesied that God would use me to fund His Kingdom…

That I’d own real estate across the country…

And eventually teach His people to do the same.

My circumstances looked NOTHING like that future.

But the next day, I started learning real estate.

Years later, during the financial crisis, I found myself $8.4 MILLION in debt…

Back at my dad’s house…

Questioning everything.

That season taught me something:

Being called to the right destination doesn’t mean you automatically know the right PATH to get there.

I didn’t need more motivation.

I needed the right mentor—someone who had already walked the road.

I rebuilt.

And eventually, that broke 22-year-old asking God how he could fund His work became the founder of Kingdom 320.

Today, our mission is helping Christians create more time and resources for their families—and fund the work God has called them to do.

I’m not sharing this so you think, “Good for Jeff.”

I’m sharing it because maybe YOUR circumstances look nothing like what God has put in your heart.

Maybe you know you’re called to more.

Maybe real estate has been on your heart for years.

Maybe you’ve tried, failed, or trusted the wrong people.

Your current chapter doesn’t have to be your final chapter.

But you do need to get clear on the path you’re supposed to walk.

If you feel called to build wealth through real estate for your family and the Kingdom…

I spent YEARS thinking success meant doing what was “expected” of me.

Build the career.
Make good money.
Work hard.
Play it safe.
Be grateful.

And for a while, I was.

I had a successful six-figure career I enjoyed. My family was proud of me. From the outside, there wasn’t much reason to leave.

But deep down, I kept feeling that nudge:

MORE.

Not just more money.

More TIME.
More freedom for my family.
More resources to give.
More capacity to do what God was calling me to do.

If I could sit across from the younger version of myself today, I’d tell him:

Stop confusing COMFORT with CALLING.

You can be blessed where you are and still be called somewhere else.

And stepping out in faith doesn’t mean it gets easy.

I made mistakes. Trusted the wrong strategies. Tried to figure out things alone that I should’ve gotten guidance on.

At one point, I ended up $8.4 MILLION in debt, living in my dad’s guest bedroom, questioning the calling God had put on my life.

But I’d tell that 22 year old guy one more thing:

DON’T QUIT.

Some seasons that feel like they’re breaking you are teaching you what you’ll eventually use to help someone else.

Years later, God has blessed me with more freedom, abundance, and Kingdom impact than I imagined possible.

So if I could go back, I wouldn’t tell myself how to avoid every failure.

I’d tell myself:

Get the right guidance.
Learn from people who’ve walked the road.
Stop trying to figure everything out alone.

And when God calls you out of what’s comfortable…

GO.

Because failing while pursuing your calling isn’t the worst outcome.

Reaching the end and wondering, “What could God have done through me if I had actually answered?” might be.

If you’ve been blessed with a good career or business, but there’s still that whisper telling you there’s MORE…

Don’t ignore it.

You may be a lot closer than you think.

Here's a statistic every aspiring real estate investor should see:

According to the Federal Reserve's 2022 Survey of Consumer Finances…

The median net worth of renters and other non-homeowners was $10,400.

For homeowners?

$396,200.

Nearly 38X more.

Now, does buying a house magically make somebody wealthy?

Of course not.

And this data doesn't prove that homeownership caused the entire difference.

But it does illustrate something we've believed for a LONG time:

Ownership matters.

And you shouldn't have to pack up your family and move halfway across the country simply because somebody on the internet told you your local market is “too expensive.”

You can LIVE where you actually want to live…

And INVEST where the numbers actually make sense.

The key is learning how to recognize opportunities, evaluate the numbers, structure deals correctly, and choose the strategy that makes sense for YOUR resources and situation.

That's a completely different mindset than:

“I can't afford real estate in my market, so I guess real estate isn't for me.”

Your primary residence can be the beginning.

Then, as you develop the knowledge and resources, investment properties can become another way to build assets, create cash flow, and work toward generational wealth.

Not just wealth for wealth's sake…

But more TIME for your family.

More RESOURCES to advance God's Kingdom.

And an inheritance for your children's children.

There was only one problem.

My current circumstances looked NOTHING like that future.

But the next day, I started learning real estate.

And that began a journey that would change my life.

Not an easy journey.

Not a straight line.

And DEFINITELY not an overnight-success story.

I experienced success.

I built a career and business.

And then came one of the lowest seasons of my life.

Around the financial crisis, everything began falling apart.

In 2008, I found myself $8.4 MILLION in debt

Back living in my dad’s house…

And questioning whether I had completely gone insane.

Imagine that.

You believe God has called you to build wealth and fund His Kingdom…

Yet your bank account and circumstances seem to be screaming the exact opposite.

That season taught me something I wish I understood at 22:
Being called to the right destination doesn’t mean you automatically know the right PATH to get there.

I didn't need another motivational speech.

I needed someone who had already walked the road.

The right mentor helped me see what I couldn't see on my own.

I began rebuilding.

I learned a different way to approach real estate.

And little by little, the vision God had put on my heart years earlier started making sense.

Eventually, what began as a broke 22-year-old wondering how he could possibly fund God's work became Kingdom 320…

A mission centered around helping other Christians create more time and resources for their families while becoming equipped to fund the work God has called them to do.

And THAT is why I tell this story.

Not so you look at my life and think:

“Good for Jeff.”

But so you look at YOURS differently.

Maybe you're successful on paper but know you're called to more.

Maybe real estate has been on your heart for years, but you still haven't taken the first step.

Maybe you've already tried…

Made mistakes…

Trusted the wrong people…

Or spent money on programs that left you even more confused.

Maybe right now your circumstances look nothing like what you believe God has put in your heart.

I've been there.

Your current chapter doesn't have to be your final chapter.

But eventually, you've got to stop trying to figure everything out alone and get clear on the path you're actually supposed to walk.

If you feel called to build wealth through real estate so you can create more freedom for your family and more resources for the Kingdom…

It’s the difference between what your family NEEDS every The goal isn’t necessarily to become a millionaire overnight.

It’s to start building income-producing assets that can help close that gap… so your life isn’t forever dependent on the next paycheck.

Because ultimately, this is about more than money.

It’s about creating more freedom for your family, more control over your time, and more resources to do what God has called you to do.
