Home Sales on the Rise, but Momentum May Be Fading
July saw home sales jump by 7%, with average home values reaching $371,757—a 1.1% increase over last year. Inventory also ticked up to 1.41 million homes, giving buyers a few more options. While mortgage payments dipped 0.9%, there’s a chance they could head upward again. Interestingly, the median days to pending climbed to 25, and 27.1% of listings experienced price cuts. As someone who’s been helping buyers and sellers navigate Collin County and beyond since 2007, I know how quickly the market can shift. Whether you’re curious about what these numbers could mean for your rural property, land, or your next home adventure, my team and I are here to guide you with integrity—and maybe add a little fun to the process, too.
