The reality of modern higher education is stark. Seeing clients crushed by student loan debt—a financial burden that bankruptcy can’t even touch—is a frequent and painful occurrence in my line of work.

When looking at institutions like SMU that command an $85,000 annual price tag, the only way to justify that investment is by treating it like an exclusive club membership. My goal is to ensure my own family navigates this path differently. It isn't just about the degree; it’s about the strategic return on that investment, aiming for a double major in engineering and business and, crucially, coming out on the other side completely debt-free. Education is expensive, but crippling debt is a choice we have to fight to avoid.

Take 1513 Snapdragon, for example. Instead of selling, we leased it out. After seeing incredible interest and a bidding war, the property is now cash-flowing $450 above the mortgage with a solid two-year lease in place.
