Something special is taking flight in Fulshear. 🕊️

Decades ago, as a single mother raising my three daughters, God opened a door for us here on a little piece of land that began as a watermelon farm.

Over the years, this place became our home—a place where my girls grew up, family and friends gathered, and people from near and far found a place to stay. We’ve welcomed polo players from Argentina, a cancer patient from Wyoming, a pastor from South Africa, and so many dear local friends. Each has become part of the story of this home.

And then there is the Blue Bird. 🩵 To me, the blue bird has always represented a gift from God—a reminder of His faithfulness, His provision, and the unexpected blessings He places in our lives. It seemed only fitting that it become the name and symbol of this next chapter.

Soon, Blue Bird Bed & Breakfast will open its doors as a true bed and breakfast right here in Fulshear.

Our prayer is simple: that everyone who comes through our doors experiences the same peace, beauty, hospitality, and joy that God has so graciously given our family here.

Okay y’all… I found a new obsession. ✨

Yesterday I got to visit The Only Facial, a brand-new facial salon opened by a sweet friend of mine, and when I tell you this place is AMAZING… 🤍

The entire experience is unlike anything else I’ve tried. From the moment you walk in, it feels elevated, relaxing, beautiful—and the facial itself was SO GOOD. My skin was absolutely glowing when I left. ✨

I’m also just incredibly proud to see another friend step out, chase a dream, and create something this special. There is nothing better than supporting people you love AND discovering a place you genuinely cannot wait to go back to.
