Buying or selling a home or property is more than just a transaction- it's personal. That being said, I'm so glad you're here...let me tell you a little bit about myself. After spending decades in the horse industry and as a project manager in the aerospace industry I'm ready to pursue my dream of serving YOU as your real estate agent. I wasn't born in Texas, but I got here as fast as I could! After a short pitstop in Oklahoma I moved to the Texoma area from Minnesota in 2007 and haven't looked back. The horses (and lack of snow!) initially brought me to Whitesboro but the warmth and generosity of the community combined with the rolling hills and towering oak views has kept me planted here. I currently reside in rapidly growing Gainesville with a couple of young horses of my own that I show in AQHA shows and run barrels on, and a few "projects" that I start and sell. Professionally, I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls with a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science. After following my dreams to Texas I spent several years working for elite reining horse training programs and renowned veterinary specialists in equine lameness and orthopedic surgery. I had never worked so HARD in my life, and I took this newly acquired worth ethic with me when I transitioned to a completely unforeseen 10 year career in the commericial aviation interiors industry. I learned as much about business in the corporate world as I did about myself. I learned that working hard and the desire to learn can overcome many obstacles, that I thrive in intense situations, and that strategy, negotiation and project management skills are nothing if your customer isn't your number one priority. I am so grateful for each and every experience. But real estate was always there. Always calling. Not just in a "I love watching HGTV" kind of way. But in a "I love building relationships with people and helping them through major life transitions" kind of way. I love collaborating to make things happen. I love seeing a property and feeling excited because I know that it's exactly what a client might be looking for. I know that buying or selling a home or horse facility is truly a life-changing experience and I am here to help- every step of the way.
