Did you know the hose that connects your dryer to the wall can become clogged with lint over time? 👕🧦
A clogged or damaged dryer vent hose can cause:
🔥 A serious fire hazard
⏱️ Clothes to take longer to dry
💡 Higher energy use
🥵 Your dryer to overheat
A good rule of thumb is to inspect and clean the connection regularly and replace the flexible dryer vent hose every year — or sooner if it becomes crushed, torn, kinked, or clogged.
✨ Quick tip: If your clothes are suddenly taking longer than normal to dry, your dryer feels unusually hot, or you notice a burning smell, STOP using the dryer and have the vent checked!
