Our hearts are heavy following the tragic sinking of the Lily Jean and the seven souls lost at sea. 💙

Our deepest condolences are with the families, loved ones, and the entire fishing community who are grieving this unimaginable loss. Here on the coast, the ocean is part of our everyday life—our livelihood, our history, and our identity, and moments like this remind us how deeply connected we all are.

Scripture reminds us:
“They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;
these see the works of the Lord, and His wonders in the deep.” — Psalm 107:23–24

In times like these, our community comes together, showing up for one another with compassion, strength, and care. We hold space for those mourning, honor the lives lost, and stand in solidarity with everyone affected. May the families feel wrapped in the support of this community, now and always. 🤍
