WATER IS THE NEW GOLD IN THEM THAR HILLS.
Up here in the Colorado high country, we’re not simply drilling down to a conventional water table. We’re searching for the convergence of fractures in ancient bedrock, where groundwater finds its way through the mountain.
On our projects, we’ve encountered water at depths ranging from 230 to 700 feet.
But how do we decide where to drill?
A little old-fashioned water witching enters the picture.
More on that curious exercise in an upcoming post.
