We had a great turnout at the Avion Village Chili Cook-Off!!
Thank you to Board Member Melanie Hardy for setting it up, to Merle & Judy Garner for much help, and to all those who cooked chili, made cornbread, and brought other fixins, and to those who helped clean up afterward.
It was great to meet some new friends.

Everyone in attendance voted on the chilis. They were all good... but the votes were tallied:
1st place - David Grice
2nd place - Blake Morrison
3rd place - Leigh Ann Vassey

Great attendance at the Annual Meeting!! Many familiar faces, as well as many new ones!
Congratulations to the two members who won a free month of rent! They enjoyed that even more than the BBQ... and it was really good BBQ!!
A special 'thank you' to Cindy for the beautiful decorations, organizing the meal, and working with the CPA make the audit and the meeting successful!!

Many have been praying for little Carter Wheeler, who has been so sick with cancer. In a moment of joy, his Mommy wanted everyone to know that he is strong enough to come home from the hospital soon!!!
