Mark your calendar for our next Nature Walk - with a different twist this time!
Come join us in the park at 6 pm on June 17th for an informative session on the hidden wildlife that lives in our park streams. Eric Cohen-Kivett, an Environmental Compliance Specialist with the City of Greensboro Water Resources Dept., will talk about the bugs, fish, and frogs that spend part or all of their lives in the area’s streams, what they need to survive and reproduce, and how their presence or absence indicates water quality. He’ll provide some examples for us to see and touch. Bring the kids and come out for an introduction to amazing world that most of us never see!
