One of the biggest surprises about getting older is that success starts to look different.

At some point, the goal isn't necessarily a bigger house.

It might be less maintenance.

Less stress.

More freedom.

More time for the people and activities you enjoy. I've had some wonderful conversations lately with people asking a simple question:

"Does my home still fit the life I want next?"

There's no right answer.
But it's often a good question.

One of my favorite summer memories goes all the way back to childhood.

I grew up in New York City, so seeing a truly dark night sky wasn't something I experienced very often.

Then one summer on a camping trip in New England, I remember looking up and seeing more stars than I knew existed.

I was completely fascinated.

These days, living in Colorado, I can step outside most nights and see those same stars without the campfire, sleeping bag, or mosquito repellent.

Funny how some memories stay with us.

One of the unexpected joys of being a Realtor is that sometimes the relationship doesn't end when the transaction does.

This weekend I had the privilege of attending a baby shower for family connected to past clients.

Moments like these remind me that real estate has never really been about houses.

It's about people.
Families.
New chapters.
And the milestones that happen along the way.

I left feeling grateful to have been included in such a special celebration.
