New Construction Issues 👀

Brand new home. Brand new problems.

These are the kinds of issues buyers usually don’t find until AFTER move-in… when the excitement wears off and the headaches start.

That’s why it’s ALWAYS best to have a home inspection BEFORE closing. A fresh coat of paint and brand new finishes don’t always mean the home was built correctly.

Oversights can turn into expensive repairs if nobody catches them early.

I know tanning beds aren’t part of the inspection… but we’ve got bigger issues.

I don’t have any off time to level out this farmers tan, so here we are.

At this point it’s not vanity… it’s corrective maintenance 😆

On today’s episode of “that’s not my job‼️” (new construction). Yes that’s a massive hole in the roof sheathing that got shingled over.

How long before it leaks? 😅

Brand new unit (see data tag). Never connected the supply plenum. Heat going everywhere except the house.

A quick look before you reach in can save you a painful surprise. 🕷️

We se tons of black widows in water meter boxes and in basements every year especially as it start to warm up. Pay attention and be careful!
