8 years later 🗓⏳👣 Read Below 🌸
The photo on the left was taken just a few months after my divorce was finalized in 2018.
I remember being scared. Single mom & starting over.
I was walking into a wedding alone, uncertain of what the future held, trying to rebuild a life I never imagined I’d have to rebuild.
But even then, I knew Who held my hand. Jesus 😇
The woman on the right has walked through heartbreak, disappointment, betrayal, healing, loss, growth, and more lessons than she ever asked for.
There were seasons I thought I was breaking.
Looking back, I can see I was becoming.
Over these last eight years, I learned my worth.
I learned how to stand alone.
I learned how to trust God when I couldn’t see the path.
I learned that peace is more valuable than approval.
I stopped searching for validation from people who couldn’t see my value.
And I learned that what was meant to destroy me actually introduced me to myself.
The woman on the right is stronger.
Not because life got easier.
But because she finally stopped abandoning herself to make everyone else comfortable.
The smile may have changed.
But the fire never left.
My hope is that someone sees this and realizes that healing is possible.
That no matter how broken, lost, or uncertain you feel today, your story is not over.
If she can make it…
So can you. 💜
You weren’t being buried…
You were being planted.
The seasons that looked like burial were actually the seasons God was growing roots.
And now it’s time to bloom. 🌱🔥🌸
