As I sit here on my patio in the gentle rain, on this cool and crisp morning, my heart is so full of gratitude for you.

Thank you for this peaceful moment.
Thank you for the soft sound of the rain, for the beauty of this morning, and for the simple joy of watching this little bird enjoy what you created. In moments like this, I can feel your presence, your calm, and your love surrounding me.

Lord Jesus, thank You for this Easter Sunday.
Thank you for the true meaning of this day. Thank you for your sacrifice, your suffering, your mercy, and your resurrection. Thank You for loving me enough to go to the cross for my sins, my pain, my burdens, and my broken places. Because of you Lord, I have hope, new life, and forgiveness.

Jesus, thank you for everything you have done in my life even the things I did not understand at the time. Thank you for every prayer you answered, every door you opened, every tear only you saw, and every moment you carried me when I was too tired to keep going.

I am especially grateful today for this peace.
A peace I have not felt in years.
A peace that only you could give.
Thank You for quieting the noise in my mind, calming the heaviness in my heart, and reminding me that I am safe in you Jesus.

This morning, I don’t want to rush past this feeling. I want to sit in it and fully thank you for it.
