Today, we celebrate the 15th Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD), a reminder that accessibility creates opportunity for connection and independence in every part of life. At CIL, we’re proud to support initiatives that help individuals fully engage with their communities — whether at home, at work, or, in this case, out on the golf course.

This year, our Annual Golf Tournament includes a sponsorship opportunity benefiting the Ga***rd Sports Association, an adaptive sports program that helps individuals with disabilities regain independence, confidence, and community.

On GAAD and every day, we’re working toward a more accessible world. Learn more about the Ga***rd sponsorship and how you can get involved in this year’s tournament: https://www.cil.org/cil-golf-2026

We’re excited to share that CIL’s presentation from ANCOR American Network of Community Options and Resources Connect '26 has been selected as part of the new “Greatest Hits of ANCOR Connect ’26” webinar series!

Presented in partnership with Incompass Human Services, “Room to Grow: Expanding Residential Capacity Through Strategic Partnerships” was recognized as one of the conference’s most well-received sessions based on attendee evaluations. We’re honored to bring the conversation to an even broader audience this June.

Join Michael Bloom of Incompass Human Services, alongside CIL’s Chris Canna and Samantha VanSchoick, on June 9 from 1–2 PM EDT as part of ANCOR Member Appreciation Week.

We’re grateful for the positive response to this presentation at ANCOR Connect ’26 and look forward to continuing the conversation with providers and partners from across the country.

What does "home" mean to you?

At ANCOR American Network of Community Options and Resources Connect 2026, we asked conference attendees to share their thoughts on what "home" means to them. It was a reminder that "home" can mean many things, from safety and belonging to connection and comfort.

Thank you again to everyone who stopped by, shared their thoughts, and helped make this such a meaningful experience.

CIL had a great time at connecting with providers, partners, and industry leaders at ANCOR American Network of Community Options and Resources Connect 2026 in Boston!

Alongside Michael Bloom of Incompass Human Services, the team presented “Room to Grow: Expanding Residential Capacity Through Strategic Partnerships,” highlighting how collaboration and creative problem-solving helped expand residential capacity in Massachusetts by more than 50% in under a decade. The session explored strategies for overcoming funding and policy challenges, supporting medically complex populations, and building partnerships that create long-term impact.

Thank you to everyone who attended the presentation and joined us afterward at our networking reception! We appreciated the opportunity to continue the conversation, share ideas, and strengthen connections throughout the week.
