It sold quickly, and the buyers absolutely fell in love with it! They are so excited to call this home.
But for me, the story behind that SOLD sign goes back much, much farther...

All the way back to 1999.

Twenty-seven years ago, I met my seller through another client who referred me to him. I helped sell his home in Milwaukee, and from there, life took him out of the area...and eventually back again.

There were different homes, different moves, and so many chapters along the way.

And somehow, through all those years and all those changes, he continued to trust me to be part of his journey each and every time he made a move.

That truly means more to me than I can ever put into words. โค๏ธ

Real estate is about homes, of course. But after 41 years in this business, I know it is really about people. It is about the relationships we build, the trust that grows over time, and the privilege of being invited back into someone's life when another chapter begins.

When the temperatures climb, keeping your home cool doesn't have to mean running the air conditioner nonstop.

Check out this article from "This Old House" with simple, practical tips that can help you stay comfortable while keeping energy costs in check. A few of my favorites:

๐Ÿ  Keep blinds and curtains closed during the hottest part of the day to block the sun's heat.
๐ŸŒ™ Open windows in the evening and early morning when temperatures are cooler to let fresh air circulate.
๐ŸŒ€ Use ceiling fans correctlyโ€”counterclockwise in the summerโ€”to create a cooling breeze.
๐ŸŒณ Add shade around your home with trees or landscaping to reduce heat gain.
โ„๏ธ Make sure your air conditioner/furnace filter is clean so your system runs as efficiently as possible.
