I caught sight of a bear on my way to a showing at a listing I have in Spooner on Bear Trail Ln! Couldn’t get the camera out fast enough, but I got a quick shot of him running away :)

I have an interesting relationship with ticks. I spend a lot of time in many different types of properties. When I’m outside in the yards of homes and in the woods, I usually get 1-3 ticks that hitch a ride with me. A couple of days ago I was working on pictures and videos on a farm with open field (tall grass) and woods. I ended up pulling 14 ticks off me that day, the most I’ve ever had!

Welcome Claire Hessel!
Claire is joining us as an Agent Associate, and we couldn’t be happier to have her on the team.

She’s a true Northwoods native, grew up in Grand View, and married a Hayward kid, Dalton Hessel (yes, the guy behind The Northern Nerd). Dalton is a school teacher and business owner, and together they’re raising a beautiful daughter with another little one on the way.

Claire will continue in her full-time role, but she’s diving into real estate during nights, weekends, and all the in-between moments. If you know her, that probably doesn’t surprise you… she’s highly organized, full of energy, and a total go-getter. If she doesn’t have an answer right away, she’ll find it or get you pointed in the right direction.

Now for the part some of you have been waiting for…

I’m officially stepping in to work alongside Jeremy on our real estate transactions. After 20+ years of (lovingly) keeping Gary in line, I’ve decided it’s time for a new challenge… my husband.
I’ll be handling a lot of the marketing, communication, and day-to-day flow behind the scenes, along with posting here more regularly. My background as a broker, agent, and marketing coordinator means we can tighten things up even more and keep everything moving smoothly for our clients.
