Meet Don!

A proud California native who spent 30 years there before making Liora Henderson his home one year ago.

Don enjoys staying active and social, with some of his favorite hobbies being Bingo and Left Right Center. What he loves most about life at Liora is spending time with his fellow residents and being part of such a welcoming community.

When asked what he enjoys most about Liora Henderson, Don’s answer was simple: everything. He says he couldn’t have found a better place to call home.

A fun fact about Don is that he served as a Chief of Police, dedicating years of his life to serving and protecting his community.

For anyone considering a move to Liora Henderson, Don has this advice:

“It’s the best place out here.”

Meet Judy!

Originally from Boston, MA, Judy has proudly called Liora Henderson home for almost three years and is a proud ambassador for the community.
She loves crafting and sewing, and you can often find her enjoying happy hour, exercise class with Galynn, bingo, and crafting activities with friends.

Judy says what she loves most about life at Liora is the wonderful residents and team members who make the community feel like family, and although she’s from Boston, she’ll tell you she worked very hard over the years to soften her famous Boston accent!

Her advice for anyone considering the move to senior living: “Don’t be afraid to downsize. In the end, you’ll be glad you did! You’ll find out you really didn’t need all of that stuff!” 💛
