I debated posting this, but transparency matters to me.

First, let me say thank you to everyone who has been supporting me, praying for me, checking in on me, and standing behind me. It truly means more than I can put into words. And above all, I give thanks to God for carrying me through this season.

As many of you know, I’ve been fighting a battle with my right leg for the past few months due to infection and complications from diabetes. It was a hard fight — and it was worth every ounce of effort.

But sometimes you lose a battle without losing the war.

Yesterday, I had to have surgery and my right leg was amputated just below the knee.

I’m not sharing this because I want pity. I don’t need sympathy, and I don’t see myself as a victim. This is simply a new chapter in my journey — and I wanted to share my story.

There has been pain. There has been growth. There has been perspective.

What I’ve gained is deeper gratitude, sharper focus, and a powerful reminder that resilience isn’t optional — it’s built.

If you’re the praying type, I welcome your prayers. If you’re the good-vibes type, send them my way. If you’re the tough-love type, keep treating me exactly the same.

This is just a new way forward.
And I’m stepping into it… one foot at a time. 😄
