Throwback Thursday — Planting Seeds Early

to April 2019!

This Houston Chronicle feature takes me back to a days spent with high school students, talking about financial literacy, real estate, and the importance of understanding money early.

Looking back, what stands out to me is that the mission hasn’t changed. Plant the seed early. Educate. Create exposure. Show what’s possible.

Today, I’m still doing the work helping families understand affordable housing and homeownership, educating real estate professionals, and continuing to advocate for opportunities that can build stronger communities.

Most of those students are young adults today, and I can only hope that something shared in that classroom stayed with them.

The setting may change, but the mission remains: Making Homeownership Possible.
