Today is the day to prepare for the freeze—pipes, including your sprinkler system, plants, and pets!

Cover all outdoor water spigots and wrap pipes with towels and garbage bags or foam.

Wrap any delicate plants and bring potted plants into your house or garage.

Winterize your sprinkler system (photo below) or remove backflow preventer (pics in comments).

Please keep your pets inside!

Your pool should run if it has a freeze guard to keep the water flowing. If you lose power and don’t have a full house generator, you will need to drain all valves to prevent damage. Pics in comments.
