Guess who knows pumpkin season is back? 🎃🐮 Someone is VERY excited!

Al is being a cheater, cheater, pumpkin eater! These pumpkins weren’t even planted, they’re all volunteers that popped up from the pumpkins we fed the boys at the end of last season. Looks like Mother Nature decided to do the gardening for us this year! At least he’s not in our 1000+ pumpkin patch 🎃

There’s something special about spring at Dogwood Ridge Farms,
Today we spotted a baby deer resting quietly in the fields while our playful barn kittens explored every corner of the property. Moments like these make our Airbnb feel like a little peaceful escape from the busy world.

These boys are excited for their new pasture we are fencing off. They decided to help yesterday

The boys were soaking up ALL the love from our guests this week—and they were absolutely living for it.

Huge thanks to one of our amazing guests for capturing these moments during their stay on the property—these shots are too good not to share!

We love seeing the memories you all make here

✨ Dearest Gentle Reader… ✨

Are you a children’s author with a heartwarming book about Highland cows or donkeys? We’re looking to collaborate!

At Dogwood Ridge Farms, we love sharing beautiful stories that celebrate farm life — and we’d be thrilled to feature your book with our guests in exchange for promotion of our property. Let’s grow together! 🌾📚

🐴 Featured Author Spotlight
Our first collaboration is with Ellen DeLange, author of Monty’s Special Day.

This charming story follows an adorable donkey who slips beyond his gated pasture and embarks on an unforgettable adventure. It’s the perfect cozy read while staying at Dogwood Ridge Farms — especially for little animal lovers!

📩 Are you next?
Message us to collaborate and let’s put your story in the hands of families who adore farm life as much as we do. 🐮💛
