It’s no secret that home prices aren’t what they used to be.

Real estate values almost always trend up, but what’s happening within each market looks very different right now.

In Connecticut, prices are rising while inventory stays low… making it one of the most competitive markets in the country.

Meanwhile in North Alabama, buyers still have more flexibility, more options, and a more affordable entry point, especially compared to CT.

But here’s the part thats often overlooked:

Lower prices don’t automatically mean a better deal.

And higher prices don’t mean you can’t win.

On the surface, this might feel like comparing two completely different markets—and it is.

But the real takeaway is this:

Strategy matters more than the numbers.

And knowing how to adjust that strategy based on the market you’re in is what actually makes the difference.
