Come with me to The Lights Cafe in Charlotte, NC!

The cafe has changed over time from serving coffee and juice when they first opened in 2017 (when I first visited), to adding a full-blown breakfast and brunch menu.

Picture this: You’re warmly welcomed in on a brisk Tuesday morning by Luis, and choose a seat facing the windows in the sunlit cafe.

I typically order an açaí bowl which rivals a lot of local chains, but today, I decided to try something new:

Think a savory, onion-layered Spanish Omelette and a Lavender Rosemary almond milk latte.

You can’t go wrong with anything you order here, as everything I’ve tried is 🤌🏾🤌🏾

Saving this for the next fall weekend :)

I make a mean apple crisp if I say so myself. With the busyness of life (being a Wife, Mom, and businesswoman), my love language is to cook meals and desserts for my family, and friends that happen to stop by.

I'm always looking for ways to cut down on cook time, and to shorten an apple crisp to 5 mins sounds like a to me!

Workstation setup -

When I say I love being able to work from anywhere? It’s one of the things I enjoy about being in real estate. Sometimes my work station looks like this, and shows evidence of my littles, reinforcing one of my “WHY’s”for getting into real estate. Sometimes it’s sitting by the window in a cozy local coffee shop, and sometimes it’s in the office learning from and sharing with fellow agents. I truly enjoy being able to work from anywhere and still be able to catch up on emails, trainings, and be available for my clients. It’s a in my book.
