Today I walked a few neighborhood streets personally inviting neighbors to my open house this Saturday. Not many people answer the door (which is totally okay) — but the ones who do always remind me how much I enjoy connecting face to face.

One thing I noticed today though… front porches tell stories.

Some were full of summer — bright colors, watermelons, cheerful decor. Others were simple but felt so warm and welcoming. It made me think… even without saying a word, our homes give people a feeling.

Whether it’s a porch, a front door, or the way you welcome people in — home has a way of speaking before we ever do ❤️
