Existing-home sales rose 3.2% in May, reaching the highest level since December, according to the NAR. Improving affordability is bringing buyers back, with first-time buyers now making up 35% of sales, up from 30% just a year ago. Homes are also selling faster, with a median of just 29 days on the market.
