The final season of Outer Banks is here, and if you’ve ever watched the show and thought, “wait… I know that place,” you probably do.

While Kildare Island may be fictional, so much of the Outer Banks world was filmed right here in Charleston and across the Lowcountry. Here are a few of the real filming locations you can find around Charleston:

📍 LOWNDES GROVE
Sarah Cameron’s Tannyhill home is actually Lowndes Grove, a historic Charleston estate on the Ashley River that now serves as a wedding and event venue.

📍 BOWENS ISLAND
This James Island favorite has had its own OBX moments. Bowens Island Restaurant was used as the Rockfish Bar in Season 4, and production returned to the restaurant for Season 5 filming. Plus, it’s just minutes from Folly Beach.

📍 DOWNTOWN CHARLESTON
Keep an eye out for familiar Charleston landmarks and businesses throughout the series, including the Battery, Ben Silver and the Charleston Museum.

📍 SHEM CREEK
