HOUSING BUBBLE CRASH REALITY CHECK.

The data from Housingwire.com suggests that a housing market crash is unlikely. Key reasons include:

1. The rise of "Qualified Mortgages" and the standard "30-year fixed" loan, compared to the riskier ARM and non-qualified loans of the 2000s.

2, Homeowners’ equity has improved; 1% are "underwater" on their mortgages today, compared to 23% back then, and 40% own their homes outright.

3. The current financial stability, with a strong job market and wage growth, contrasts with the higher bankruptcy and foreclosure rates of the 2000s.
