Not every house sells right away. And, this home was one of them. I am particularly proud of this testimonial as these clients hired me after I sold their neighbor's home across the street rather quickly. Their home had been on the market for quite awhile and the original listing agent hadn't even done the basics:
✅ Competitive pricing
✅ Professional photography
✅ Staging
✅ Marketing
I jumped in and course corrected with a sound plan & lots of work on the ground. It still took longer than it should have to get what was a lovely, well-cared for home under contract b/c by that point the market had slowed and the listing was stale. Takeaway? Do your homework and start with an agent who has a pricing strategy and marketing plan. And, if at any point you feel your agent isn't working with and for you, it's time to cut your losses & move on.
