We were in the right place at the right time last night! N.E.S.T. (Network for Endangered Sea Turtles) was conducting a sea turtle nest excavation in Nags Head after hatchlings emerged earlier this week.

The Network for Endangered Sea Turtles works with the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission and other partners to protect and conserve sea turtles on the Outer Banks from the Virginia line to South Nags Head.
