Closing day on their custom-built home! 🏡✨

This one is extra special and very near and dear to my heart.

It took a couple of years to find the perfect lot, because as we all know… location matters! Once the right piece of land was secured, the next step was finding the right builder; someone reliable, familiar with the area, able to understand the vision, meet timelines, and bring the dream to life.

After consultations, floor plan revisions, setting up services, and plenty of decisions along the way, the build was officially underway!

Sitting at the closing table marked the completion of a journey that started with a vision and became something so much bigger.

Now, it’s not just a custom build.

It’s home. ❤️

PCS Mistake.
One of the biggest mistakes I see during PCS moves is waiting too long to start the process. By the time you’re ready, inventory is limited, timelines are tight, and decisions feel rushed. The earlier you start planning even before orders are finalized the more options and control you have. PCS doesn’t have to feel chaotic if you start with a strategy.

Skipping the inspection? I wouldn’t recommend it.
I know when timelines are tight, it can feel tempting to skip the inspection especially in a competitive market. But as a military family, the last thing you need is unexpected repairs after you move in. An inspection gives you clarity, leverage, and peace of mind before closing. It’s not about slowing things down it’s about protecting your investment.
