Everyone loves posting the homes that sell in one weekend.
Here’s the other side of real estate.
🏡 117 Preston Ave took 124 days to sell.
The home was beautiful. The feedback was consistently positive. In fact, 22 different buyers walked through the front door. They liked it... it just wasn’t the right fit for their needs.
Instead of hoping someone would eventually come along, we continued working every single week behind the scenes.
Here’s what that looked like:
🍊 Multiple open houses
🍊 Professional photography and video
🍊 Consistent social media marketing
🍊 Reverse prospecting to agents with matching buyers
🍊 Weekly market reviews and strategy meetings
🍊 Following up after every showing for valuable feedback
🍊 Monitoring every competing listing, price reduction, pending sale, and closing
🍊 Continuous communication with the sellers so they always knew exactly where we stood
🍊 Adjusting our strategy as the market changed
Then one weekend, everything aligned.
We had multiple interested buyers at the same time, negotiated the strongest terms possible, and reached an agreement.
Did we give concessions? Yes.
That’s today’s market.
But because we stayed patient, remained strategic, and adapted along the way, the seller still achieved the net proceeds they were aiming for and that’s what mattered most.
This is the part of real estate people don’t always see. It’s not just putting a sign in the yard. It’s showing up every week, making adjustments, solving problems, and refusing to lose momentum until the home is sold.
Congratulations to my amazing sellers, and thank you for trusting the process. 🧡
