💦 Sevier County Days return to Dollywood’s Splash Country this June!

Sevier County Days gives local residents and workers the opportunity to enjoy an affordable way to enjoy Splash Country while supporting Sevier County non-profits at the same time.

During Sevier County Days, Sevier County residents and workers can visit from June 1-7, 2026.

🙌 Admission is just a $5 donation, with all proceeds benefiting area non-profits dedicated to serving Sevier County residents.

To participate, Sevier County residents must present a valid state- or federally-issued photo ID with an eligible Sevier County zip code.

Those who work in Sevier County but are not residents must present proof of employment along with a matching photo ID.

This is a great opportunity to enjoy two of the Smokies’ favorite attractions while giving back to the local community at the same time. ❤️

This Memorial Day, we take a moment to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage and commitment protect the freedoms we enjoy each day.

The synchronous firefly viewing event begins today at Elkmont and runs through May 27!

Please remember:
• After 12 PM, access to Elkmont is limited to vehicles with reservations and registered campers.
• No overnight parking is permitted at Little River Trailhead, Jakes Creek Trailhead, or the Appalachian Clubhouse during this period.



The Elkmont area in Great Smoky Mountains National Park is home to a large population of synchronous fireflies. These temporary closures help protect the fireflies and firefly habitat during their mating season. The park uses soil temperature to predict peak viewing dates, which can shift each year. Since 1993, recorded peak activity has ranged from the third week of May to the third week of June.
