My favorite moving tip might be the simplest one: make one box that does NOT disappear into the moving truck. Put your charger, toiletries, medications, a change of clothes, paper towels, basic cleaning supplies, and anything else you will want that first night inside. Because after a full day of moving, the last thing you want to do is open 17 boxes looking for toothpaste. 😂

A lot of buyers go into a home purchase thinking the only number up for discussion is the purchase price. Not necessarily. 👀

Depending on the home, the seller, and the current market, there may be opportunities to negotiate things like closing costs, repairs, the closing date, a home warranty, or even certain items staying with the house.

The key is knowing what is actually worth asking for and where you have the most negotiating power. Sometimes getting the right terms can be just as valuable as getting a lower price.

In honor of National Swap Ideas Day, let’s trade home hacks. 👇 What is one little trick, product, or routine you use around the house that you swear by?

Here’s one of mine: hypochlorous acid. It is available as a concentrate that you dilute with water in a spray bottle, that can be used for sanitizing and deodorizing. It’s great to spray on pillows and blankets in between washes, curtains and cloth couches that absorb smells, and as a multi-surface countertop cleaner.

Just make sure to check that the specific concentrate you choose is intended for the surface and purpose you have in mind, and follow the label’s contact time if you are using it to sanitize or disinfect.
