From the original design to a home that is nearly complete.

We’ve been following this custom home throughout the MG Legacy Build Series—from the early stages of construction through framing, mechanicals, finishes, and the many decisions that gradually shaped the home.

This comparison takes us back to where the exterior began: the original architectural color elevation alongside the home today.

There are still final details to complete, but it is now very close to becoming a finished home.

This is 108 Bucks Lane in The Woodlands—shown first in the original architectural color elevation, and now as the home approaches completion.

One of the rewarding parts of building is watching the early design decisions become real.

Another MG Legacy home is officially sold.

Set on 1.79 acres, this home brought together many of the elements we enjoy designing into our projects—open gathering spaces, warm natural materials, stonework, wood details, and plenty of connection to the surrounding property.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to build it, and we’re excited to see it begin its next chapter as a home.

Framing is moving forward at 628 Lake Valley, and the floor plan is becoming much easier to see.

This is one of the interesting parts of framing: before finishes influence what you notice, you can study the architecture itself. How large does a room feel? How do the kitchen and living spaces connect? Where will natural light enter?

There is still a long way to go, but the design is starting to become three-dimensional.
