This was me at 20 years old stepping into real estate with absolutely no clue what I was doing… just a feeling that this was what I was meant to do.
I knew college wasn’t for me. I knew I had a different mentality, a different drive, and I knew I was willing to work harder than most people around me. But at the time, all I knew was catering and bartending events, sometimes working 15+ hour shifts until 3 a.m. Exhausted, missing holidays and weekends, and still feeling like I was getting nowhere.
I remember sitting there thinking…there has to be more for my life than this.
So I took a chance on myself and got into real estate.
The truth is, the first 18 months were HARD. I barely sold homes. I questioned myself constantly. I didn’t have the support, guidance, or environment I needed to truly grow. There were so many moments I was one foot out the door ready to quit altogether.
But everything changed when I changed my environment.
I switched teams, surrounded myself with people who thought bigger, worked harder, believed in growth, accountability, discipline, and becoming the best version of yourself. I got in the right rooms and around the right people… and my entire life changed after that.
Fast forward to now just over 3 years into the industry, becoming a top producer and ranking in the Top 300 in the market while navigating life, growth, and even becoming a mom. This has been something younger me would have never believed was possible. And I am just getting started.
The biggest thing I’ve learned through all of it is this: your environment matters. The people around you matter. The rooms you sit in matter.
Now one of the most fulfilling parts of my career is helping other people gain confidence in themselves, grow personally and professionally, and realize they’re capable of way more than they think they are.
