I was 21 years old, walking into the lobby on my university campus when I saw students gathered around a TV in complete silence. I stopped and watched the news unfold, feeling sick to my stomach.

I left campus, skipped class, and went home to watch the rest of that day unfold.

Twenty-five years later, I still remember exactly where I was and how it felt.

Today, we honor the lives lost, the families forever changed 25 years ago, and the heroes who stepped forward.

We will never forget 9/11/2001. 🇺🇸
