I passed the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator exam! 🎉

For me, this was never just about adding another license or title. It was about becoming better equipped to meet people exactly where they are in their homeownership journey.

Buying a home can come with a lot of questions, uncertainty, and moving parts. As a REALTOR®, I want to understand the full picture so I can provide informed, thoughtful support through every stage of the process.

Once my mortgage loan originator license is active, I’ll be happy to help people better understand and navigate their mortgage options as they work toward homeownership.

Passing this exam is another step toward providing the most complete and compassionate service possible. No matter what my clients need, I want them to know they have someone in their corner who is committed to listening, learning, and helping them move forward with clarity and confidence.

I’m incredibly proud of this accomplishment and even more excited about the people I’ll be able to serve because of it.😃

This is pitiful!
We have been fighting to establish that housing is a human right for decades and with all that’s going on in the world, surely the systems that empower veterans’ access to housing is protected, right? 🤔

Today, we celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., whose fight for justice extended directly to the communities we serve.

Many don't know that Dr. King was a tireless advocate for "open housing." In 1966, he moved his family into a Chicago tenement to shine a light on the deplorable conditions and systemic discrimination faced by Black families. He led marches through segregated neighborhoods, demanding that everyone, regardless of race, have the right to live where they choose.

His courageous work in the Chicago Freedom Movement laid the crucial groundwork for the Fair Housing Act of 1968, which was passed just one week after his assassination.

As real estate professionals, we are the stewards of this legacy. We have a duty to uphold the principles of fair housing every single day, ensuring that the dream of homeownership is accessible to everyone.

Today, let's reflect on his words and recommit to building inclusive communities.
