In honor of Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, our employee resource group, HAAPI, created space for associates to learn about different cultures and share experiences. They hosted a virtual conversation about Hawaiian heritage and collaborated with our ERGs PACT and LIFT for a panel discussion about different family journeys. We recently hosted our 4th annual ERG & Rise Leadership Summit. Inspired by President and CEO Toby Bozzuto’s 2026 word of the year, “intention,” more than 80 leaders from Rise by Bozzuto and our employee resource groups came together for a day of meaningful connection, education, and celebration. The Summit featured a special fireside chat with Chief Administrative Officer Julie Smith and SOME (So Others Might Eat) President and CEO Troy Swanda, keynote speaker Regine Nelson, and recognition of our second annual Impact Award.

We recently celebrated the groundbreaking of The Marianne, an elevated senior living community in Dallas that will help address the market’s growing need for housing for adults 65 and older. Developed by Harbert South Bay Partners and designed by Arcadis, the community will offer independent living, assisted living and memory care residences, further expanding Bozzuto Construction’s expertise in senior housing. During this time, we invite residents to donate diapers (size 4+), wipes, and feminine hygiene products by placing them in the donation box outside the leasing office. All contributions will benefit the Howard County Food Bank.
