This right here is one of the many reasons I got into the home inspection business! I got a call from a single mother who thankfully decided to get the house inspected before purchasing. This furnace was located in a small muddy crawl space about 40ft from the access. As I crawled back there I discovered the flue had completely rusted off! This could potentially fill the crawl space and the house with carbon monoxide which could cause a number of health issues or even be fatal.

I wrote up the findings in the report. Now she is aware of the problem and can ask for appropriate repair to be made before investing her time in money in this house.

Home inspections are a important part home the home buying process. We are always looking out for safety issues to keep you and your family safe.

I almost chickened out of this home inspection. 😉. It's was 1.5 hour dive from my house but when friends calls on you to do their home inspection you go! Plus I got to meet another great realtor that is serving Blue Springs area!

My favorite thing about doing home inspection is getting to see so many awesome houses like this one. With 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms I had my work cut out for me! All in All the house was very well built and should be a great home for the new buyers. I did uncover a few defects in my report that I was able to talk though with the future homeowner to give them a better understanding of the house and what they are investing in. I love my job!😁

❄️ I didn't let the snow slow me down today! Managed to complete 4 home inspections on 2 different duplexes. They were very well built by quality contractors. Making my job of reporting problems to future buyers less painful. I appreciate the opportunity to work with such great realtors who know how to deliver great products!

How about this December weather!? 🌞 It was a perfect day to do a home inspection on this beautiful, well-built house in Greenwood, MO. I'm sure the new buyers will enjoy this one for many years!
