Selling a home with 40 years of memories is not like selling a starter home.
The boxes are heavier (literally and emotionally). The paint colors are personal. The “good china” lives in the dining room and nobody wants to talk about what happens to it.
Most realtors meet you at the listing date. I meet you 6 months earlier, at the kitchen table, with a notepad and a plan.
Twenty years in Kentucky real estate plus a specialty in senior transitions means I can quarterback the whole thing: the sort, the stage, the list, the sell.
If “we should probably do something about the house soon” has come up at a family dinner this spring, that’s the conversation I help with.
