🏡 New Affordable Homeownership Opportunities Are Coming to Lima

The City of Lima is excited to share a new homeownership opportunity being led by New Lima - Housing For The Future, the City's designated Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO).

Through the Welcome Home Ohio program, New Lima is constructing six new single-family homes to help make homeownership more affordable for qualifying families in our community.

Buyer Eligibility
✔️ Total household income must be at or below 120% of the Area Median Income (AMI).
✔️ The Welcome Home Ohio program provides up to $100,000 in gap funding per home to help offset construction costs, making these homes more affordable for eligible buyers.

Homebuyers will also have the opportunity to personalize select finishes, including flooring, countertops, siding, roofing, and other design features during construction.

As part of this program, eligible buyers can choose from available City of Lima Land Bank lots where these new homes will be built.
