🌊 What's Happening at Lake Gaston This Weekend?

If you're heading to the lake this weekend, don't miss The Crossing 2026 on Saturday, August 8! This annual community event brings together hundreds of participants who will walk, swim, paddle, float, or kayak one mile across Lake Gaston at Eaton Ferry Bridge—all while raising money for local nonprofits and community projects. It's one of Lake Gaston's most unique traditions and always draws a great crowd.

👀 Even if you're not participating, it's a fun event to watch from the shoreline or while out on the water. If you're boating in the Eaton Ferry area Saturday morning, be sure to use extra caution and watch for event volunteers and participants.
