2,500 children in Gregg County!! Wow!! This is just a small part of her legacy! Talk about changing lives forever. I don’t recall a time in life without knowing who Dolly was. I pray the goodness that she created will live on. ❤️🙏

In 1995, Dolly Parton started mailing books to children in her home county to inspire children to love reading in honor of her dad, who couldn’t read or write.
That idea lives here too. Every month, 2,500 children in Gregg County find a book in the mailbox — because of neighbors who fund it, volunteers who run it, and a woman from Sevier County, TN who started it all.

Thank you Goosehead Insurance- Mica Langley!!!

Our goal was 100 backpacks, and yesterday we got to drop them off at East Texas CASA.

I am so thankful for everyone who donated, shared, or helped in any way. It never gets old seeing our community come together for such a great cause. These backpacks are going to make a difference for some amazing kids, and I’m so grateful we got to be a small part of it.
